The opportunity

This is a superb full time, permanent opportunity for an able and inspirational teacher to adopt the leadership of the Department of Geography in a leading HMC School. This role will suit a candidate who is very motivated and committed to delivering teaching and learning of the highest quality. The role will suit an individual who recognises that progress, challenge and enjoyment are key to enabling all pupils to realise their potential and maximise their outcomes in the subject.

The Department

 

The Geography Department is a very popular subject at Key Stage 4 and 5 and has contributed to the School’s enviable track record of results success. The team deliver a bespoke Key Stage 3 Curriculum, leading to GCSE at Key Stage 4. A Level Geography is very popular. The Department also offer a range of activities to stretch and encourage students such as field trips and international visits.

The opportunity

As one of the leading Independent Schools in the country, we pride ourselves on offering a supportive and caring environment for pupils. We are currently looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our expanding Nursery team to help us fulfil our goals to provide outstanding Foundation Stage care and education.

To be successful, you will need to be qualified to an appropriate and recognised level 3 in Early Years and Childcare (this does not include Health and Social Care) and ideally with some experience of working with 2-4 year olds, and be looking for an opportunity to get fully involved with the life of this busy school.

All year contract (50 weeks)

Annual leave: 20 days with an additional 5 days that must be taken over the Christmas period, plus public holidays

The opportunity

PRIME Facility Services have recently been awarded the contract for cleaning services at Newcastle Under Lyme School  and are looking for a team of Cleaning Operatives to join us from the local community. You will work autonomously with the support of a highly experienced facilities team.

  • Cleaning experience preferred but not essential
  • All aspects of general cleaning, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, toilet/ washroom facilities.
  • Operating machinery and tools within health and safety guidelines.
