We concluded this academic year in true NULS tradition, with our Prep and Senior Prize-giving ceremonies held in a purpose-built marquee on the Upper Close.
It was a privilege to have alumna and professional opera singer Charlotte Page as our guest of honour. Her breathtaking performances of stage classics like “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina” and “I Dreamed a Dream” left a lasting impression, and her inspiring speeches about her experiences at NULS and the importance of following one’s passions resonated deeply with both our Prep and Senior audiences.
The day was a joyous celebration of our pupils’ accomplishments in their academic pursuits and extracurricular activities throughout the year.
During the Prep Prize-giving, our pupils delivered remarkable performances, with the choir and the cast of The Wizard of Oz taking the spotlight. There were also impressive solo acts and an engaging speech and drama duologue.
At the Senior Prize-giving, the cast of Oklahoma! amazed the audience with an outstanding performance of the title song, expertly accompanied by our talented orchestra.
Our School community is truly special, and it was a delight to see so many parents join us for the day’s festivities, which included a drinks reception and the main ceremony. We are grateful for your enthusiastic participation and hope you had a wonderful time.
