A-Level Examination Statement
For A Level subjects that remain modular, A Level students sit AS modules at the end of Year 12 and complete the course in Year 13.
For A Level subjects that have become linear, A Level students do not sit AS modules and only sit examinations at the end of Year 13.
For standalone AS subjects not continued to A Level, students sit AS modules at the end of Year 12.
Some students, in rare cases of uncertainty about which subjects to continue to A level study, choose to sit additional AS examinations at the end of Year 12.
School predicted grades are based on ALIS Baseline, staff professional judgements, internal assessments and results for any AS modules that the students have completed.
