NULS are delighted to be named as the Top Independent School in Staffordshire in the 2023, Sunday Times Parent Power Schools Guide! Following a year of record breaking results, the school was actually also named as the 3rd Best Co-ed Independent Day School in the entire West Midlands region. A wonderful accolade and one which was celebrated at the school.Headmaster Mr Michael Getty commented: “We are very honoured to be named the Top Independent School in our County, which is always a privilege. Finding ourselves also placed 3rd Best Co-ed Independent Day School in the vast West Midlands area is also a real source of pride and very much down to our immensely hardworking pupils and staff. The West Midlands area takes in Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Telford and Wrekin and Worcestershire and the cities of Birmingham, Wolverhampton and so forth. To be placed so highly in this context is quite breathtaking and it certainly means an awful lot to us to have our pupils’ results receive such recognition.”NULS was also the only school in Staffordshire to be positioned in the Top 20 schools in the West Midlands, in the renowned annual Parent Power Guide for 2023.
Newcastle under Lyme School’s youngest pupils have raised over £5000 for Cancer Research UK by completing a sponsored walk ‘from’ Newcastle-under-Lyme to Newcastle in New South Wales, Australia.
