At NULS, we pride ourselves on the support we provide to students who aspire to study at Oxbridge. This year we have two pupils who have secured places and are heading to the country’s two most selective universities this Autumn.
After achieving stellar results in his A-Levels, Year 13 Bilal Mahmood has secured a place at Downing College, Cambridge University to study Medicine. Impressively, this is the third student from NULS in three years that has secured a place on this hugely competitive Medicine course, at Cambridge University. Throughout his time at NULS, Bilal has thrown himself into School life being a member of our Senior Prefect Team, leading the Pre-Med Society, and being a member of the Navy Section of the CCF.
Heading to Oxford University in September is former Head Boy, Zagham Farhan, who after taking a gap year will be reading History and Politics. During his time at NULS, Zagham studied Politics in his A-Levels, as well as being a passionate member of our Debating Society.
