As students at NULS celebrated their outstanding A Level examination results this year, three students in particular deserved particular praise. After securing straight A* and A grades, Lily, William and Saad are now headed to study at the two most selective universities in the country; Oxford and Cambridge.
Mr Getty, Headmaster, commented: “We are enormously proud of these three students. Their dedication and intellect is genuinely inspiring and they will thrive in the hugely stimulating environment and community provided by the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.”
Lily, who has also secured a Choral Scholarship, will take up a place at Exeter College, Oxford to read Bio-Chemistry with William and Saad headed to the University of Cambridge to read Natural Sciences and Medicine respectively, both at Churchill College.
NULS has an enviable record of sending students to these two highly selective universities, with five students in two years securing opportunities to study on a wide variety of courses. Saad’s success this year also continues our Pre-Med Society’s brilliant track-record with this being the fourth consecutive year of NULS pupils studying Medicine at Cambridge.
