The story of 'The Gruffalo'
During the Easter Break our Nursery children investigated Julia Donaldson's modern classic 'The Gruffalo'.
The Gruffallo follows the journey of a mouse travelling through the forest to meet and dine with his friend, a monster that is half-bear and half-buffalo called the Gruffalo.
They dressed up as their favourite characters from the book and gave their own unique take on a well-known story.
Following the performance the children put their culinary skills to the test to make some delicious Gruffalo Crumble!
"Silly old owl, doesn't he know? There's no such thing as a gruffalo!"
