World Book Day Celebrations
Our Junior School Pupils celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 1st March. It is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) it’s a celebration of reading!
A child from each class presented their favourite book in a special assembly to mark the day.
Later, we held a Balloon Debate with Pupils playing a selection of literary characters, each pupil involved put forward their argument as to why their character should stay in the balloon.
The winner, surprisingly some may say, was Ron Weasley!
Celebrate Stories. Love Reading!
