As the earliest opportunity to join Newcastle-under-Lyme School, we aim to provide the best start to an unbroken and coherent educational journey for children from the ages of 3 to 18.
This is achieved by providing quality care and Early Years education to 3 and 4 year olds and by keeping the happiness and well-being of children at the very heart of what we do.
Our dedicated team of experienced and well-qualified staff work in partnership with parents to support each child's development towards reaching key milestones. We firmly believe that play underpins all learning and development, and each child is guided and supported in developing important foundation skills which are essential in equipping them for life and education.
We are a self-contained Nursery alongside the Reception classes, with whom we work closely in forming a strong Foundation Stage. The Nursery benefits from having well-resourced indoor and outdoor learning environments, a Forest School area and access to the School library and hall. We are also within walking distance of the town centre and local amenities which allows us to further enhance the children's learning experiences.
The Nursery is open 50 weeks of the year and offers all year or term time only sessions. I encourage you to visit us and see first-hand how the children here are happily engaged in the activities provided for the first steps of their educational journey.
