Following our winning of “Best Independent School 2025” in the Independent Education Awards, we are delighted to have received communication from a second awarding body to inform us that Newcastle-under-Lyme School has also been shortlisted in the Independent Schools of the Year Awards.
NULS has been shortlisted for Independent School of the Year for Student Careers – a category that recognises unparalleled careers and post-school support programmes.
At NULS, we are committed to providing high quality careers information and guidance at each stage of a pupil’s journey and our ambitious programme runs from Year 7 to Year 13. Our pupils are empowered to make informed decisions about their futures through a rich and age appropriate curriculum, complemented with the opportunity to join various societies as part of our NULS Future Pathways to understand the wide range of future pathways available including technical, vocational and academic routes.
The Independent Schools of the Year 2025 is an awards programme by the Independent School Parent magazine to showcase schools’ success stories and celebrate the extraordinary and compelling student experience that they provide. Following record entries this year exceeding over a thousand nominations, we are thrilled to have been recognised for our continued investment in our integrated and progressive career provision to help prepare all of our students for the dynamic world ahead.
