43 of our LAMDA pupils took part in the festival at the weekend and between them they secured an amazing 16 3rd place awards,18 2nd places and 17 1st places in their categories.
Speaking of their success, NULS LAMDA Speech and Drama Teacher, Ella Jones said: “I knew our pupils were going to be good from their rehearsals in their lessons last week but they were all absolutely stunning in front of the audiences and all performed even better than I could have hoped. I was incredibly proud of them all, not just those who scooped all the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places but of every single student who got up and performed their acting monologues, acting duologues, poetry, Shakespeare pieces and prose readings in front of the audience. They were outstanding.”
