Our Little NULS and Pre-School pupils were so excited to welcome PC Harris and his Police dog Max to the nursery last week!
PC Harris spoke to our pupils about the important jobs that Police do to keep us all safe, how to ring 999 in an emergency and the importance of each child knowing where they live. The children were fascinated to learn about the work that the officers do, as well as having the opportunity to see the Police cars and equipment and trying on all of the different hats and helmets.
The real highlight, of course was when the children met Max the Police Dog and many of them remembered him from their previous visit last year!
Newcastle under Lyme School’s youngest pupils have raised over £5000 for Cancer Research UK by completing a sponsored walk ‘from’ Newcastle-under-Lyme to Newcastle in New South Wales, Australia.
