This is a superb opportunity for an able and inspirational teacher to assume responsibility for a key department in a leading HMC School. This role will suit a candidate who is highly motivated and committed to taking a highly regarded department to the next stage of its evolution. Performance learning and enjoyment are key and enabling pupils to realise their potential and maximise their outcomes.
NULS was founded c.1602 and its academic calibre is renowned in the area. In 2020, NULS’ exceptional results of 73% Grade 7-9 at GCSE and 89% A*-B at Advanced Level led once again in Staffordshire with NULS ranked very highly indeed in the last national league tables in 2019. NULS’ momentum and standing continues to reach new heights after recently being awarded the highest possible gradings under Independent School Inspection, which are formally published shortly. Our 30 acre site enables the school to benefit from impressive facilities for teaching, learning and extracurricular provision across our Prep and Senior sites. The school has recently embarked on an ambitious development programme to build on its academic strengths and wishes to appoint an aspiring and able Teacher of History keen to share in the delivery of the school’s goals.
The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Applicants must undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. Registered charity no. 1124463.
