During the conference, our students carried out political debate, socio-economic research and lobbying and particular praise was given to our Sixth Form students including Bilal who was Highly Commended in Health, Zagham who was Commended in Human Rights Council and Freya who also received a special mention.
Model United Nations operates as a simulation of the United Nations whereby students assume the role of national ambassadors or representatives where they debate and aim to resolve international issues. Model UN is an excellent way to develop and demonstrate key skills such as public speaking, teamwork and negotiation which will stand out on a Sixth Former’s CV.
