Congratulations to former NULS students Angus, Richard, Lily, Will, Piers and Matthew who recently attended the Gold Award Celebration in the Garden of Buckingham Palace in recognition of their completion of the Gold Duke of Edinburgh award.
The Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is the highest level of the DofE which sees young leaders develop confidence and essential skills for life and their future world of work. It is a recognised mark of achievement which is respected amongst many employers and our former students participated in 12 months of extensive volunteering and physical activities plus completing a 3 night expedition and a 4 night residential.
Our former students completed their Gold award whilst they studied for A-Levels and we are so proud of each of them who demonstrated valuable skills including leadership, teamwork and dedication.
