Many of our former pupils have life long attachments to the area and so we are alway proud to report their achievements. Jim Worgan has been volunteering his time with local organisations, especially the Brampton Museum for decades. He has been the custodian of a number of items relating to the history of the school and its place in the borough.
We are very proud to report that former pupil, Mr Jim Worgan has been awarded the honorary Freedom of the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme. The award was made on the 28th Of September at Castle House with the Mayor and Mayoress attending. Mr Worgan’s award recognises his ‘outstanding contribution to the promotion of the heritage of the Borough’.
His award was delayed by the arrival of the COVID pandemic, but meant that it was awarded alongside the Royal Stoke University Hospital
