It was a morning of reflection and pride as we celebrated Founders’ Day, commemorating 423 years of rich history at NULS. More than just a date in the calendar, this day connects our current pupils to the visionary founders and the centuries of tradition that define us today.
The annual event remembers those who created our school, those who have gone before us and the enduring values that our school was built upon. It’s a powerful tradition that reminds us all of our school’s heritage and what makes Newcastle-under-Lyme School so special.
St George’s Church was packed with pupils from Year 6 right through to our Sixth Form prefects and with our School Song, Founders’ Day prayers and stunning music from our school choir, it was a truly special morning. A huge well done to all our pupils and teachers who made the service so memorable.
