Weekly Forest School sessions are a firm favourite at Little NULS! Our children love to immerse themselves in nature in our on-site Forest School enjoying everything from den building, climbing the mud slide, playing on the rope swing and more!
Guided by our specialist Forest School leads, our children acquire skills and characteristics such as resilience and perseverance while also fostering their creativity as they explore and play in this dedicated part of our school campus.
Forest School is purposefully designed to provide pupils with a holistic educational experience that raises self-awareness and self-esteem in a natural, outdoor setting as well as enhancing their learning.
Newcastle under Lyme School’s youngest pupils have raised over £5000 for Cancer Research UK by completing a sponsored walk ‘from’ Newcastle-under-Lyme to Newcastle in New South Wales, Australia.
