39 of our most dedicated Army, Navy and RAF Cadets recently visited Plas Caerdeon in Snowdonia National Park to complete a weekend of adventourous training.
Our students participated in slate mine exploration, rock climbing, kayaking, orineteering, hill walking and zip lining.
At NULS all of our students benefit from a wide range of opportunties to help them develop as outward facing individuals, who are responsible and possess the skills necessary to be successful in our modern world. As part of our co-curricular offering, we are proud to offer students from Year 9 the opportunity to join our Combined Cadet Force (CCF). Choosing between the CCF sections of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, the Royal Air Force, or the Army, students who partake in the weekly sessions are enabled to develop both practical and transferable skills which include leadership, self discipline and resilience.
Well done to everyone involved, you certainly did our school proud!
