We are delighted to have been awarded the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award which acknowledges and celebrates the ecological achievements of our pupils.
Eco-School is delivered in over 100 countries and is an internationally recognised accreditation in celebrating achievements in championing sustainability and inspiring environmental action and awareness.
What made our school’s application stand out was the collective effort all the way through our school, from Pre-Prep right through to Sixth Form. Whether it was building bug hotels in the Pre-Prep, litter picks in Prep or raising awareness through assemblies and form time activities in Seniors, our school entry strongly demonstrates our one-school approach and sense of community which is felt throughout our whole school.
Our submission was also unique in that it was led by Year 13 student Isla, who worked across our Prep and Senior School. This demonstrates Isla’s fantastic leadership and resilience to make our application successful. What a fantastic achievement!
