Alice, the Mad Hatter and all of the characters from Wonderland, were portrayed marvellously by pupils from Year 7 to Year 9 in a fantastically unique interpretation of the Lewis Carroll classic.
The production, which took place over three nights, was staged in various locations across the Lancaster Site of School, using the promenade theatrical technique, and audiences had the pleasure of being immersed in the show by following the actors around the Memorial Hall, the Kitchener Corridor, the Quad and the Headmaster’s Garden.
Supporting our wonderful performers were Mrs Betts-Nicholson and Mr Yu who co-directed the superb show and provided our pupils with valuable advice and direction.
Pupils also had the opportunity to take part in supporting roles backstage including lighting and sound, which provided them with an amazing opportunity to get involved in other aspects of staging a theatrical performance.
