Bursaries and Scholarships

A number of Bursaries are available for pupils applying for entry into the Senior School. Bursaries offer financial assistance with School Fees. This is dependent upon parental income.

The Registration Form has a section wherein parents may indicate their wish to apply for financial assistance.

 

Governors' Scholarships
Up to £2,000 per annum for up to five years following entry.  Entrance Exhibitions: Up to £500 for one year following entry.
To be awarded to boys and girls gaining the highest places at 11+ following the Entrance Examination procedures.
 
Up to £2,000 per annum for up to five years following entry. 
To be awarded to boys and girls on the basis of their performance at 13+ following the Entrance Examination procedures.
 
Sport Scholarship
A number of Sport Scholarship may be awarded to candidates, on their entry to the Senior School, demonstrating particular sporting prowess in at least one major School sport.
Up to £1,000 for one year following entry. Further details can be obtained from the Registrar.
 
Music Scholarships
A number of Music Scholarships may be awarded to candidates entering the Sixth Form at 16+ and on entry at 11+. The Scholarships will cover the cost of tuition throughout the student's school career. Further details can be obtained from the Registrar.
 
The Robert S Woodward Scholarships 
1 or 2 Scholarships with a value of £1,000 per annum. To be awarded annually to students entering, or in, the Sixth Form for outstanding performance in the field of Mathematical Sciences.
 
The JCB Sixth Form Scholarship
Up to £1,000 per annum. To be awarded annually to students entering, or in, the Sixth Form for outstanding performance in the field of Physics.
 
Please Note: the awards of both Scholarships and Bursaries are subject to periodical review.
