We are delighted to share the news that alumnus Jim Worgan was awarded one of the inaugural Newcastle Borough Heroes awards in recognition of his service to local history. Jim was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award as a ‘walking archive’ of the Borough’s history who has contributed to many heritage and history projects including at the Brampton Museum. The ceremony, at Keele Hall, took place in March and forms part of the Borough’s celebration of the 850th anniversary of Newcastle receiving its Royal Charter. Congratulations Jim!
