We want all our students’ experiences outside the classroom to be varied, rewarding and fun. Our diverse programme of extra-curricular activities encourages life-skills, stimulates self-discovery, risk-taking and adventure. There is an enormous variety of clubs and societies to choose from including the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Young Enterprise, Chess, Debating, Public Speaking and many more.
The Combined Cadet Force (CCF) and Scout and Cub packs provide unforgettable experiences and encourage leadership. Our school trips take pupils all over the world. In recent times World Challenge groups have travelled to Bolivia and Malawi, our Historians to Moscow, girls’ Netball to New Zealand and Samoa, and the Senior Rugby Team has toured Australia and New Zealand. Closer to home our extensive community service programme teaches children the importance of society and citizenship, and within School the House system provides a host of varied opportunities.
