Note - The option of term time only places will be available in the Nursery. It should be noted that term time is defined as 38 weeks of the year (to match the Nursery Education Grant regulations) and that a £10 a day retention charge will be levied in non term time in respect of days normally attended during term time.
A reduction is made on fees for a second child and subsequent children as follows:
2nd child 5%
3rd child 12.5%
4th child 20%
Payment of Fees
Fees are payable in advance or before the first day of term for which they are due. The School also offers the option of payment of fees by direct debit either by one payment termly or 3 payments per term.
Review of Fees
Fees are reviewed annually for the beginning of the Autumn Term
A number of Bursaries are available for pupils applying for entry to the Senior School. Bursaries offer assistance with School Fees, depending on parental income.
The Registration Form has a section wherein parents may indicate their wish to apply for financial assistance.
Governors’ Scholarships (11+)
Up to £2000 per annum for up to five years following entry. To be awarded to boys and girls gaining the highest places at 11+, following the Entrance Examination procedures.
Governors’ Scholarships (13+)
Up to £1000 per annum for up to three years following entry. To be awarded to boys and girls on the basis of their performance at 13+, following the Entrance Examination procedures. Applications are not required for the above Scholarships, which are awarded following the Entrance Examination procedures.
A number of Sports Scholarships may be awarded to candidates on entry to the senior school demonstrating particular sporting prowess in major school sports. Up to £1000 per annum for one year following entry. For further details please contact the Registrar on 01782 664620.
A number of Music Scholarships may be awarded to candidates entering the Sixth Form at 16+ and on entry at 11+. The Scholarships will cover the cost of music tuition throughout the student’s school career. For further details please contact the Registrar on 01782 664620.
The Robert S Woodward Scholarships
1 or 2 Scholarships with a value of £1,000 per annum. To be awarded annually to students entering, or in, the Sixth Form for outstanding performance in the field of Mathematical Sciences.
The JCB Sixth Form Scholarship
Up to £1000 per annum. To be awarded annually to students entering, or in, the Sixth Form for outstanding performance in the field of Physics.
The award of both Scholarships and Bursaries is subject to review periodically in the light of the performance of the pupil. Further details may be obtained from the Headmaster at the School.
